About Eurico Senna
Eurico Senna is the founder of Spider Martial Arts, a creative movement brand that channels the cinematic and expressive power of Capoeira into film and performance. Born into a family of Capoeira, Eurico carries on a rich legacy—his grandfather, Mestre Carlos Senna, founded Capoeira Senavox, the third Capoeira school in the world after the legendary Mestre Bimba and Mestre Pastinha. After moving to Los Angeles at age 13, Eurico began training more seriously, especially after being inspired by Lateef Crowder’s performance in The Protector and seeing Capoeira Batuque in the Santa Barbara Solstice Parade.
In college at Cal State Long Beach, Eurico studied Film and Theater while discovering Martial Arts Tricking and Parkour—two art forms that deeply shaped his movement style. He performed in physical theater productions, appeared in TV shows like Happy Endings, and later toured the US and Europe with FELD Entertainment’s Marvel Universe LIVE, portraying both Wolverine and Spider-Man.
Today, Eurico coaches across disciplines—from Parkour to Capoeira to Tricking—and spends much of his time developing the Spider Martial Arts Stunt Team, teaching at LA Rec & Parks, and training at Capoeira Batuque. His approach blends tradition, innovation, and storytelling—and his favorite trick is none other than the Webster 🤟🏽🕸️
About Christian Peralta

About Christian Peralta
Movement has always played a central role in Christian Peralta’s life, starting with weightlifting and strength training before moving into personal coaching. As he focused on building a career in healthcare and raising a family, that drive for movement never left it just evolved. After the pandemic hit and life slowed down, Christian finally leaned into a lifelong interest in flips, movement, and action choreography. That path led him to tricking, where he eventually met Eurico Senna. The two quickly connected over a shared mindset, and that partnership helped lay the foundation for what would become the SMA stunt team.
Since then, Christian has dedicated himself to learning the full spectrum of what it takes to make action. Not just performing on camera, but also writing, producing, directing, and running productions behind the scenes. With no formal background in martial arts or stunts, everything he’s built has come from the ground up through years of training with the team. Today, he brings that same mindset into every project, helping grow SMA into something built to last.
Spider Martial Arts
Capoeira, Martial Arts Tricking, Stunts, Superhero Fitness, and Sports Recovery
Spider Martial Arts is a brand (2020) and a team (2024) created to embody the martial characteristics of Capoeira on film. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial arts disguised as a dance, using music and misdirection to oppose imperial oppression in pursuit of FREEDOM. We expand Capoeira beyond its setting in the roda into the web of life where it meets Martial Arts Tricking.
.
Otherwise known as Tricking, it started in Sport Karate open forms in the late 2000s mixing the influence of Capoeira, Breakdance, Kungfu, Tae Kwon Do, and Gymnastics. Back then it was known as XMA or Extreme Martial Arts, but with the revolution of the Internet and Film, people all over the world began sharing their martial arts tricks and the art form Martial Arts Tricking was born. This artform centers freedom, creativity, and athleticism which are major parts of Capoeira’s essence. Many old school trickers are now also Stunt Performers/Coordinators since the movie Tron: Legacy.
.
So when it gets down to it, we fuse Capoeira and Tricking is by practicing Fight Choreography. It gives ample room to explore the creativity and freedom of Tricking while honoring the versatility and cultural impact of Capoeira. The byproduct of this fusion creates an excellent opportunity to tell stories about Capoeira in the US as a Filmmaker as well as incorporate other disciplines like Karate, Parkour, Eskrima, Breakdancing, and Percussion!
